Autumn Moon Botanicals is a heart & earth-centred business, in service to plants & people.

Thanks so much for being here.

My name is Chloé Alice Chivers. I am a Naturopath, Herbalist & Menstruality Mentor.

Autumn Moon Botanicals has been created to be in service to women who need to be seen, heard & supported with their physical & emotional health challenges. My passion is to support women with menstrual cycle health, intimate health, digestive wellbeing & stress resilience.

Autumn Moon Botanicals is also here to be in service to the incredible world of plant medicine by honouring the plants, facilitating connection with the botanical world & harnessing the medicine of the herbs for healing.

My work and calling is a magical meeting of Botanical, Cyclical & Heart-led medicine.

I have learnt a lot about what health & wellness really is over the years of working in natural health & through my own wild & wonderful health journey as a woman in this modern day world.

I have discovered that healing & vitality come from a grounded, calm & balanced place, where life's pleasures abound, plant medicine is a potent ally & a good dose of curiosity, patience & self-love is key.

I know from my personal experience with various health challenges, how lonely, frustrating & exhausting it can be at times. It can sometimes feel like no one understands how you feel in your body, there seems to be no answers to your symptoms & you feel worried that you will always struggle with your health.

I want you to know that you are not alone.

I see you. I hear you.

My passion as a practitioner is to holistically support you with nutrition, herbs & health practices, that will help you to feel joyful, calm & vital in your beautiful body again. I believe wellness is about cultivating inner curiosity & kindness, giving yourself plenty of nourishment (whole foods, rest, movement, joy & connection), taking herbal & nutritional support that is tailored for your unique needs & constitution and creating sustainable health habits that work best with your health picture & life circumstances. We are all unique, there’s not a one-size-fits-all. I am here to support you!

I have been working in the natural health field for 15 years & working as a qualified naturopath for nearly a decade. Since studying clinical naturopathy, I have gone on to study vitalist herbalism, astro-herbalism, menstruality mentoring & holistic massage, which enables me to work in a truly holistic way with each of my clients.

I am currently based in beautiful New Zealand, offering consultations in my online clinic. If you want to get a feel for my work & learn more about me, please check out both my Instagram & my Substack. Substack is where I write the Autumn Moon newsletter about the wonders of plant medicine & cyclical living. I also share little snippets into my health journey & life on both platforms, as I believe we learn & grow through story-telling & sharing.

I also work for Forest Herb Research, supporting people all around the world with the incredible anti-fungal herb, Horopito, from the lush rainforests of New Zealand. Horopito is an potent herb that can balance the vaginal & digestive microbiome.

I can’t wait to support you x

About Chloe

Along with my love of the botanical world & natural health, I am also a cat lover, moon gazer & an introverted soul - INFP is my personality type. You'll find me sipping herbal teas in the sunshine & walking somewhere beautiful in nature like the wild woods.

I also love identifying plants whilst out walking, sustainably foraging & making my own plant medicine. I love & highly value sourcing local/spray-free/organic produce to nourish my body & because it also cares for the earth & farmers. I love swimming in lakes & rivers, growing medicinal herbs + homegrown vegetables, caring for animals (I’ve spent 18 months pet sitting in the UK), cooking/baking, reading, crochet, learning piano & café/walk dates with good friends.

I am quite happy snuggling up to watch a film/tv show with a cuppa & dark chocolate. A few of my favs are Chocolat, Amélie, Lessons in Chemistry, Friends, Bridget Jones & Erin Brockovich.

I am slightly obsessed with the mountains, cats, astrology, Frida Kahlo, learning about human psychology & using up everything in the fridge before I buy more fresh food!

One of my favourite quotes by Clarissa Pinkola Estés.

“I hope you will go out and let stories, that is life, happen to you, and that you will work with these stories from your life--not someone else’s life--water them with your blood and tears and your laughter till they bloom, till you yourself burst into bloom. That is the work. The only work.”

I'm originally from Aotearoa/New Zealand - this is my birth home & where I spent the first 21 years of my life, growing up under the gaze of the Kaimai-Mamaku mountain range. I spent 11 years of my childhood on a farm, running barefoot on the grass & picking wildflowers from the fields. My relationship with plants began when I was a little girl, connecting with beautiful botanicals on the farm like honey suckles, red clover, dandelions & buttercups.

I lived in Australia for 10 years during my 20's and I am forever grateful for my season there - an ancient & wise land - where my nature path really began to unfold. I'll always be grateful for the medicine of the eucalyptus & wattle trees, for the snakes who taught me to trust & for the magic of the rainforest, the desert and the hinterland. Australia will always have a sacred space in my heart.

My life's adventures have also taken me to the tropics of the Phillipines where I volunteered at an orphanage & rescued stray cats from the streets. And to the north of France where I lived for 12 months in my last year of high school & lived with a family that greatly influenced my plant path.

I have recently returned from 18 months living in the UK, where my ancestral roots are from. I adored connecting to the plants & trees of the northern hemisphere & I loved visiting many ancient stone circles & sacred sites. I am forever grateful to hawthorn, rose, heather, bilberry, mug wort & elderberry for the potent wisdom & healing shared during the countless meanders through the lush countryside.
